What is your favorite bar in chicago? Distinguishable by region (river north, lincoln park, wrigleyville, etc.)
I like Motel Bar in west River North; District in River North; Moe’s Cantina/John Barleycorn in Wrigleyville;
Actually, I don’t really have favorite bars. My favorite place to be is wherever my friends are. And good Al Fresco spots like Roof (in the loop) and Zed451 (in River North).
I approve.
Lulz.
This is cute but I can’t find the Green Lantern feature on my Nexus One or my iPhone.
If you were given the option between being successful and having very little free time or not being successful and having a lot of free time, which would you choose?
Definitely unsuccessful with free time. I work to pay the bills and enjoy my life. To me, being successful should equal more freedom to enjoy things. So, 80 hour work weeks and weekend workdays = not my thing.
How long will you go without taking a shower before it becomes unbearable for you?
I typically shower every day. Although, some Sundays I dont shower if I’m not leaving the apt.
If you are unsure about how to spell a word, do you look it up or do you type it into Google?
I google the word. But I always use the “definition” feature or check merriam-webster.com.
Let’s say you gave yourself a paper cut on your finger, would you put that finger in your mouth or would you put pressure on it? What would you do?
I’d probably put my finger in my mouth. Weird question.
Which year was the best year of your life and why?
Probably 2008-2009 (Yes, I know that’s two years).
I’m in an overall great place in my life, right now. I’ve got a great job, great friend, a nice apartment, beautiful girlfriend, and good health. I’ve got fun travel plans coming up.
Psychologically, I’m probably the most confident and the happiest I’ve been in my life. My financial situation is decent and getting better.
Over the past 2 years of my life, my quality of life has been steadily increasing.
What’s the worst job you’ve ever had?
None of the jobs I’ve had have been that bad to be honest. Never worked fast food and never had to due grueling manual labor, either. So, I can’t say I’ve worked at a job that I really hated.
The closest to that was working for a company with a very “conservative image”. It was a relief to leave there and go to work for a much more casual environment.
You’ve got to ask yourself one question: ‘Do I feel lucky?’ Well, do ya, punk?
Actually, yeah… Looking at where I’ve come from to where I am now, I’d have to say I do feel lucky.
The evolution of communication
Someone posted a twitter message -> I @replied them -> they DM’d me -> I sent them a text message… I need to work in a facebook message and snail mail.
